Roselind,

...And by the way, we know that you got drawn into a considerable amount of effort on this the last week before the closing.  We are most grateful, and of course very pleased for the sale to have gone through. Talk to you soon...

Austin Real Estate Inspection.

Valued clients,

In Austin, homes are not required to be brought up to current building codes when sold. However, building code violations will be noted on inspections reports.

These are items that come up often on inspection reports. It makes sense to correct any known repair items before marketing your home.

The following are not necessarily "major problems", but are items that come up often on inspection reports. If you are concerned about repair items that might come up, it makes sense to get an inspection prior to putting your home on the market.

Or, you could have a handyman check your house for small problems, and get them fixed before you go on the market. Be sure to review our page on the Seller's Disclosure before putting your home on the market.
